Built on 80 acres, Meadowview Farm is a family-owned riding school and stable that has become
known for a tradition of quaility. Meadowview Farm today is respected for
the excellence of its teaching staff and for the outstanding quality of
its horses and horse care.
Meadowview Farm's principle objective is to provide a standard of instruction
that will build and improve riding skills at any level, focusing on the principles
of English Horsemanship, Showring Riding, and Polo Playing. Lessons may be
taken on school mounts or on your own horse. Horse boarding is handled expertly
at Meadowview Farm, as well as sales, training, and conditioning of horses.
Located between Ada and Lowell, Meadowview Farm is a convenient drive from
metropolitan Grand Rapids, as well as the surrounding West Michigan area.
The cornerstone of the Meadowview Farm stable is its spacious 250' x 80' indoor
arena, built to provide comfortable riding throughout the year and to showcase
indoor polo matches and horse show competitions during winter months. A heated
viewing area /lounge overlooks the arena. Indoor walkways connect the arena
with 72 stalls, seven tack rooms, and indoor/outdoor wash racks.
Four outdoor arenas accomodate flat, jumping, and polo lessons, as well as schooling,
hacking, polo scrimmages, and horse show competitions. There are large grass
pastures and paddocks for turn out, and the adjacent exercise track opens out onto
miles of trails for quiet hacks or spirited gallops.
