HAPPY 21st ANNIVERSARY LAKE EFFECTS! In 1986 the Lake Effects Horse Show circuit was formed to accommodate riders in Western Michigan. Our first awards banquet was a pig roast following the last horse show of the summer. We now host beautiful banquets for these ceremonies, awarding over 20 trophies and 100 ribbons. The LEHS provides ten affordable summer shows at wonderful facilities with experienced show managers. Many riders who got their start on the LEHS have gone on to qualifications and awards on the national level. We invite you to join us as we celebrate 21 YEARS of hosting Horse Shows. No rider membership is required, all riders points are automatically counted toward
equitation classes. Any rider is invited to show in the LEHS medals, according to each
class description. Your horse must be "nominated" for it's hunter points to count toward
year end awards.
Nominations must be mailed to Sandi Teachman, 11666 Sonoma Road, Battle Creek, MI 49015 before
your horse's first show.
