Happy is a 14'3" hand brown mare that has been with
MVF most of her 20+ years. Originally owned by Joni
Kaylor who chose the name "Dori" for her. Joni mostly
rode her for pleasure and she soon learned to jump
and play polo. Happy spent a few years owned by the
Campos family and later found her way back to MVF.
At that time, Les had a polo string named after the
seven dwarfs, creating her new name "Dopey".
Somewhere in time she became the "Happy" dwarf
and that has stayed with her the longest. Happy
taught several riders how to play polo and later came
to the riding school to teach riders how to walk trot
and canter. Happy is a favorite by many riders to
learn to canter on.
